In the quarterfinal match on the Australian Open Tomas did not manage to beat the Spaniard Nadal and lost in four sets 7-6 6-7 4-6 3-6. Even though Tomas will not continue on the Australian Open he has proved his position in the top 10. He will now have few days to rest.
